Bart was born in Montgomery, AL and studied history at the University of Alabama (B.A., 1973). He then attended Jones School of Law (J.D. 1976). He focuses on real estate law, and probate and administrative law. Bart is a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association, Alabama State Bar Association, and American Bar Association.
Bart and his wife, Elizabeth, have two daughters and two grandchildren. They are members of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Montgomery, AL. Bart is a former municipal Judge in Fort Deposit, AL.

Matthew T. Ellis
Matt was born in Montgomery, Alabama and attended Troy State University (B.S., 1997) and Jones School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2000). In 2001, Matt was admitted to the Alabama State Bar and the United States District Court, District of Alabama. Matt practices in the areas of residential real estate, commercial real estate, civil litigation, probate law, and serves as counsel for the Office of the Secretary of the Alabama State Senate. He is a member of the Alabama State Bar, Montgomery County Bar Association, and American Bar Association.
Matt and his wife, Stacey, have two children and are members of First Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama. Matt serves as a member of the Pike Road, Alabama Board of Zoning and Adjustments and is a past board member of the Baptist Medical Center-East Advisory Board.
